CNC-Operator

We are seeking for skilled and experienced CNC-operators to Otanmäki, Kainuu region, Finland. Our client manufactures parts for mining machines and railway vehicles. One year contract for fulltime work (with possibility of continuation), following Finnish laws and collective agreement (technology industry). Start as soon as possibile. We are looking for staff that are ready to commit for long-term employemnt. Our clients machine shop is equipped with a wide range of CNC machining centers, from smaller vertical machining centers (travel approx. 15002000 mm) to medium-sized portal and horizontal machines (up to 6000 mm), as well as some of the largest heavy-duty machines in Finland, with travels up to 2038 meters and up to 9 controlled axes. The equipment includes modern Heidenhain and Siemens controls, rotary tables, automatic angle heads, and both older proven heavy machines and brand-new 2020s models. This enables machining of both massive welded structures and smaller precision parts Your tasks include: - Machining and programming welded assemblies (write more about your programming skill level for example: Operator level / Controller programming / CAD-CAM programming) - Reading technical drawings and precise measurements - Manufacturing complex parts from raw material to finished product Requirements: - Experience in CNC machining (lathes, milling machines, etc.), minimum 3 years - Knowledge of Heidenhain control systems is an advantage - Ability to work in shift work (2- or 3-shift system) - Strong safety awareness and attention to detail - There is also a health examination (including drug tests) that you need to pass. - Good teamwork skills and motivation - Good knowledge of technical drawings - Language skills English or Finnish We offer: Salary: The TVR (job requirement group in collective agreement for technology industry) of the job varies in groups 6-8, so the amount of the basic salary (TVR+HKO) may change. The persons basic salary TVR+HKO serves as the guaranteed salary The salary at the beginning of the employment relationship shall be: for the first 1 month: 14,45€/h, after this commission salary (average in commission 15,5-17,5€/h) shift extra in evenings +1,35€/+ shortened working hour 6,3%, night shift +2,50€/h + shortened working hours while working in 3-shifts 11% Living: lightly furnished apartment, where everyone have their own room, but join kitchen and bathroom (max 3 people in one apartment). Rent about 250€/month. Distance to work about 1km. Finnish employment contract signed with VPS following technology induustry collective agreement Working shifts: 40 h/week, 2-3 shift system+ possibility for flexible hours, occasionally overtime work with +50% and +100% hours.
