Electronic Equipment Assembly Engineer

Located in Vantaa and due to planned growth, we now seek an experienced and accomplished Electronic Equipment Assembly Engineer with experience gained in safety critical environments i.e. Aviation, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Telecom or other similar highly complex Engineering projects to join the team on a permanent basis. Working in a multi-disciplinary team setting and with third party suppliers you will take part in assembling, integrating, verification, commissioning of Air Traffic Control and Coastal Surveillance radar hardware. The central part of the work will be handling of electronic devices and cables, inspecting subsystems and ensuring that they match their design and work as intended. The Role: -Electronic equipment factory assembly and acceptance -Test and repair of electronic modules and logging of test results -Participation in installation of radar electronic equipment and cabling -Participation in equipment configuring at the factory and during on-site commissioning -Participation in periodic and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of operational equipment during site visits and remotely -Participate in creation and maintaining of project technical documentation (creation of diagrams, minor changes in manuals and description) Requirements: -Relevant Electrical Engineering / Automation background -Ability to solder and make simple electronic module repairs -Ability to fault seek and troubleshoot electronic modules coming from customer sites -Ability to read and understand electronic schematics using P-CAD reader and Altium Designer -Understanding of analog and digital electronics -Knowledge of electronics manufacturing standards -Familiarity with test equipment like signal generators, oscilloscopes, etc. -Ability to occasionally travel to customer sites and to the HQ in the UK -Ability to communicate and write in English a working language in the company -Experience in mechanical subassembly and equipment integration -Experience in electrical schematics / boards modifications and verifications, PCB Inspections About Easat Finland Oy: Easat Finland Oy is an electronic equipment design and manufacturing branch of Easat Radar Systems Ltd, UK.
