Forest berry picking work in Finland 2025

Season duration: Work is expected to start between 15th 20th July and continue until the end of September, depending on the berry season. We offer accommodation in two large houses located in different areas. Standard accommodation: 12,50 euro per night more private and comfortable (Central-Finland) or shared accommodation: 8 euro per night (similar like in hostels) multiple beds in one room (South-East-Finland). Payment and Work Conditions: You will be paid based on how much work you do. This is called piece-rate pay. A motivated and hard-working person can earn around 10 euro per hour or more, depending on your speed and effort. Employees are required to collect a seasonally adjusted amount of berries to ensure that their hourly earnings meet the minimum level required by Finnish law. Tools and vehicles for berry transportation are provided by the employer. Work is organized in car-based teams. Working in the forest is physically demanding and requires good physical health as well as a strong motivation. Important Information: Due to limited resources, we are unable to respond to individual questions at this stage. Candidates will be selected over the coming days and contacted directly. All selected workers will receive training materials and on-site practical guidance before starting the job.
