Kitchen Assistant Nordic Unique Travels is one of the main travel companies located in Rovaniemi, Finland. We specialize in tours in Lapland - in Finland, North Norway, and Sweden. At the moment we have more than 100 tours and holiday packages in the Arctic Circle. Lapland is a great winter destination offering unforgettable experiences. Because of its nature, northern lights, winter activities, unique cuisine and accommodation and of course Santa Claus, it is very popular among customers from all around the world. We are looking for a kitchen helper to join our team in our new resort: Aito Igloo & Spa Resort, which will be one of the top luxury hotels and the most stunning getaway to discover the unique landscape of Lapland. We aim to deliver the best experience and privileged comfort to our customers as well as to value the sustainability of the planet. - Duration of the agreement: We are looking for potential candidates interested in this position for a longer period, but it will start with a 3-4 month contract from November 2025 with high possibilities to be extended. - Part-time position / Full time position *Requirements: -The candidate needs to have relevant experience for at least 6 months. -The candidate needs to have operation related experience and leadership experience -Excellent organizational skills. -The ability to safely use kitchen equipment and appliances. -Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures. -Excellent organizational skills. -Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills. -Fluent in English and other native languages (Spanish/French/Italian is a plus). *Basic Duties and Responsibilities: -Mopping and sweeping the kitchen -Taking out the garbage and replacing garbage bags -Washing, drying, and putting away all dishes and kitchen utensils -Unloading food supplies from delivery trucks -Helping cooks prepare for meals by washing, cutting, peeling, and slicing ingredients -Packing takeout orders for customers -Clearing and cleaning tables for Waitstaff when necessary -Refilling condiments or other supplies at tables If you believe you are enthusiastic and have the expected skills, send your cover letter and CV in PDF files to our human resource team at jobs@nordictravels.eu.
