Laboratory Analyst/Technician

We are now looking for a Laboratory Analyst/Technician, for Molecular Biology unit in R&D Rajamäki, Finland. If you apply successfully for this job, you will join us at an exciting time. The role Our business is growing and to ensure that this growth continues we want you to strengthen our Molecular Biology capabilities in R&D. In your role as a laboratory analyst/technician, your work is to skilfully and precisely perform laboratory experiments related to gene technology, microbiology, enzyme analytics, and automation. The daily tasks would include e.g. production of enzymes in fungal platform, analysis of laboratory scale cultivations and documentation of the results. About you You hold a Bachelor´s degree from University of Applied Sciences or a technician´s degree and have hands-on skills in molecular biology methods (PCR, DNA extraction etc.) and microbiology methods, especially using bacteria or fungi. Laboratory experience in enzyme or other biotechnology industry is a clear asset. We are expecting a pragmatic and independent working style with the ability to prioritize and organize individual tasks for efficient throughput. We are looking for a reliable team player and value a high level of responsibility and accountability, as well as a willingness to further develop your skills.
