Plumbing System Engineer for CAM Plant Project, Kotka

We are looking for aPlumbing System Engineer to join our clients China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. team for the Kotka CAM Plant project. China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (CHEC)is a world-renowned international contractor and a leading provider of comprehensive services across the entire industry chain for both public and private sectors.CHEC has been engaged as the main contractor for the CAM Plant project in Kotka, responsible for the implementation and construction of the plant. In this Plumbing System Engineer role, you will be part of the MEP team that contributes to the successful execution of the project. The position is project-based, with an expected duration of approximately two years, and the work is located in Keltakallio, Kotka. Your responsibilities include: - Coordinating with relevant disciplines to develop and finalize plumbing design solutions across all project stages. - Independently review and manage plumbing construction drawings, ensuring quality and compliance. - Supporting construction with technical issue resolution, drawing disclosure, acceptance, and post-design services. - Preparing and reviewing quantity take-offs; assist in procurement and propose plumbing system optimizations for implementation. What we expect from you: - Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant engineering field. - Over 5 years of design-related or consulting work experience, with the ability to independently handle design calculations and construction drawing reviews. Must have managed plumbing systems for more than 5 medium to large-scale projects. - Strong proficiency in plumbing system design and construction drawings review. Familiarity with industry software such as Elite, WaterGEMS, or EPANET is preferred. - Good communication skills. - Full professional proficiency in English.
