Project Planner

We are looking for an experienced Project Planner with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Project for our client in the manufacturing industry. The role will start as soon as a suitable candidate is found. This is initially a 6-month project, with the possibility of a 12-month extension. Job description: The Project Planner will be responsible for: Creating, monitoring, and updating individual workstream plans in collaboration with Stream Leads to maintain accurate documentation of progress and future activities. Identifying interdependencies between deliverables/activities within and across workstream plans, ensuring a clear understanding of linkages. Consolidating individual stream plans into a comprehensive integrated Programme Plan. Identifying the critical path and tracking performance against it. Required skills: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Project ability to create and manage complex Programme plans. Critical path management experience handling interdependencies within a large-scale programme Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Workstream Plans: All plans are up to date, baselined, and linked to Weekly Reports and Governance/EMT Board decks. Clear visibility of deviations from the plan or slippage in dates. Integrated Programme Plan: A consolidated overview showing key milestones and deliverables. Reporting Quality: All reports are completed accurately and on time, with a structured flow of information from the team level to the Programme level. Reports should be clear, well-articulated, and of high quality. Preferred skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to engage with and challenge senior leadership and business partners. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience presenting plans, reports, and outputs in a clear and professional manner. Language: English Allocation: 100% Location: Europe, remote (parent office in Helsinki, Finland) Travel requirements: Approximately 1 week monthly to Helsinki. Duration: Start agreed upon.
