Research Scientist

We are now looking for a Research Scientist, for Molecular Biology unit in R&D Rajamäki, Finland. If you apply successfully for this job, you will join us at an exciting time. The role In your role as a Research Scientist, we want you to strengthen our Trichoderma expertise and technology capabilities in R&D, working in close collaboration with Scientists, Project Managers and key stakeholders. Your main responsibility is to take part in enzyme evolution projects and developing Trichoderma production platform within cross-functional teams. We are expecting that you perform and manage molecular biology and microbiological laboratory tasks including design of experiments, result reporting and documentation. About you You hold a PhD or Masters degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or adjacent sciences. You are a reliable team player with strong collaboration and communication skills. We appreciate a high level of responsibility and accountability and willingness to expand scientific knowledge. Solid background knowledge in microbiology and previous experience in fungal production platforms is considered as an advantage. Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, knowledge of Finnish is an asset. Do we have your attention?
