(Senior) Games Programmer / Unreal Engine

AILiveSim is a young startup that uses gaming technology to create realistic dynamic simulation for training and testing AI algorithms. Our software can be used to augment datasets, collect associated ground truth, train new learning algorithms using curriculum, or various types of testing. We create environments that look realistic, are parametric and we model some procedural elements to allow for a maximum of variations. As a Senior Games Programmer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing key components of our system, as well as inspiring and leading fellow programmers, and guiding the content team. This role comes with a high degree of freedom and responsibility. You aren't afraid to tackle challenges across different areas of the solution, and while you have a clear vision of how things should be done, you're always open to learning new techniques. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems for serious applications, with a focus on simulation technology - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, artists, and customers, to deliver high-quality solutions - Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient code for real-time simulations - Mentor and guide junior programmers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment - Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance AILiveSim's competitive edge - Contribute to the architecture and design of simulations that impact AI training and development Requirements: - Proven experience as a Senior Programmer in a relevant industry or domain - Expertise in software development, with games, serious applications or simulations - Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with a preference for C++ - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead and mentor a team - Experience with Unreal Engine or similar game development engines Valuable assets in your role: - Game development or experience in a 3D game - Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies - At ease with test driven development - Familiar with AI and neural networks training - Played with robotics and embedded programming Join us and dive into cutting-edge projects at the forefront of technology.
