Etteplan Asset Operations and Maintenance, part of the Smart Factory, is focused on providing smart digital solutions for asset owners transition towards preventive and predictive maintenance of assets as well as optimizing operations in process industries. This transformation includes sales of advisory services focused on smart factory readiness assessment, technology integration and cybersecurity. It also includes long-term contracts for managed services focused on maintenance planning and data analytics, as well as process optimization and automation. All to utilize smart digital solutions to create highly efficient, flexible, and predictive manufacturing environments. Your role Reporting to Vice President, Service solutions at Engineering Solutions, we are looking for an enthusiastic, performance-driven doer and team player to build and lead a high-performance sales team working with senior leaders at Etteplan and key customers to develop a sales pipeline and successful sales of Asset Operations and Maintenance solutions at Etteplan. You shall be responsible for defining and continuously refining the sales strategies and business goals for Asset Operations and Maintenance Services and assist in building Etteplan´s Asset Operations and Maintenance portfolio offerings of today and the future together with the Etteplan organization. Ideally, you are a self-directed, self-motivated leader, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a dynamic, complex and matrix environment. You have very strong coordination, communication and organizational skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities spanning cross-functional teams. You will be based in our Tampere or Espoo office, or another office such as Oulu, Vaasa, Jyväskylä, or Lappeenranta. The work will done in a hybrid model according to our needs, including also some traveling when visiting customers locally or in Finland. Your main responsibilities - Hunting new sales opportunities and increasing the sales to asset owners in process and manufacturing companies, further develop value-based sales - Lead and evolve sales planning process of smart digital solutions related to Asset Operations and Maintenance, working with extended teams and key stakeholders - Assist in defining and continuously refining sales rules for all Asset Operations and Maintenance sales operations and identify fundamental business needs for sales issues such as competence supply, employee retention, structural assets and organization - Assessment of present and future market potential, customer, competitor and technology environment - Facilitate regular sales portfolio review leading sales in a structured manner Your profile We are looking for an experienced value based sales leader that can lead, coach and refine sales of newly developed offerings customizing and pricing them based on the customers needs. You will also function as a bid manager keeping all stakeholders together when building up the sales cases. You will focus on developing an easy-to-understand sales context for cross-functional stakeholders upon which Asset Operations and Maintenance (Smart Factory) depend. You are also willing to understand the details of the Asset Operations and Maintenance (Smart Factory) services and the customers. Your skills and experience - Experience working in a senior sales management position focusing on value based sales, with an excellent sales track record - As the educational background, a university degree relevant to the role - Hands on doer, experienced with BID management, building and pricing delivery projects and all the facets of the process - Ability to tailor solutions depending on the customers needs - Attentiveness to customer and to Etteplan needs - Good numerical skills in order to show benefits to the customers - Good understanding digital solutions for data gathering, integration and analysis related to Asset Operations and Maintenance (Smart Factory) from many industries and experience in multiple business models - Exceptional oral and written communication with the ability to facilitate discussions with executives and execution teams, and the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms - Ability to work in a self-directed, results-oriented environment with pressure and global presence - Deep understanding of project planning and delivery, and ability to set standards, propose policy/process, and coach others - Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently You have a strong commercial and value sales interest, an analytical mind-set, and well-developed communication skills. You are assertive and trusted, good at facilitating meetings with a positive doer personality, and have excellent Finnish and English skills.
