SQM Engineer to KONE Hyvinkää! If this feels interesting to you, keep on reading. We are looking for an SQM Engineer to join our clients KONE Industrial Oy's European SQM team. The position will be based in Hyvinkää with a hybrid work setup. The assignment starts quickly and lasts at least 6 months. Contract of employment will be with Adecco. The SQM engineer ensures suppliers are capable and complying with quality, safety, and sustainability requirements. SQM Engineer effectively applies supplier quality management processes, tools, and resources to drive Supplier Excellence. Your main tasks will include - Operational SQM work with KONE suppliers and internal stakeholders - Participate in supplier qualification process and supplier negotiations - Conduct supplier audits according to the annual audit plan - Ensure that all reported quality issues and audit findings are analyzed, root-caused and corrective/preventive actions are implemented at/with suppliers to prevent a reoccurrence of quality issues - Monitor and report supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented. - Act as result provider in new product/change projects and ensure the right quality via execution of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) at/with suppliers - Contribute to supplier continuous improvement activities and drive supplier development projects To be successful in this role, you should have - At the minimum B.Sc. level University/University of Applied Sciences technical degree - Preferably 1-3 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing processes and methods, supplier quality management, quality engineering, supply chain management, sourcing, or other relevant area - Product and process auditing experience, management system auditing experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 or similar - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Strong project management and problem-solving skills - Strong solution-oriented approach, capability to implement, and persistency in follow-up activities to ensure quality and sustainability - Result oriented, self-driven and self-motivated to learn and coach - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally - Fluency in English, additional European languages (e.g., Finnish, German, Italian, Polish) are a plus We offer you strong support in your personal and professional growth in a truly global business environment.
