TEAM MANAGER, ACCOUNTING We are now seeking a proactive Accounting Team Manager to join our Finance Centralized Core Functions team in a permanent position at our head office in Helsinki. Join our team and help us make a difference! Your key contribution areas In this role, youll lead our global Accounting team and ensure the delivery of high-quality and efficient accounting services. Our team handles accounting transactions for Lindströms European subsidiaries, and your leadership will be key to maintaining and improving this core function. Your main responsibilities are: - Overseeing daily operations and ensuring service delivery meets agreed standards - Supporting and empowering team members in daily work and development - Offering guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning - Identifying and implementing improvements in service quality and efficiency - Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and internal controls - Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support audits, resolve issues, and develop processes What helps you to shine in this role? Were looking for a motivated finance professional ready to take on a leadership role someone who blends technical expertise, strong leadership, and interpersonal skills. Youre passionate about people development and curious about improving both individuals and processes. With a team of talented professionals at different experience levels, your ability to guide and adapt your support is key. To shine in this role, youll bring: - 5+ years of experience in finance; project or leadership experience is a plus - A degree in finance or a related field - Solid understanding of accounting principles - A genuine interest in leadership and talent development - Openness to feedback and a growth mindset - The ability to navigate change and help turn it into everyday success - Strong analytical and organizational skills - Fluency in English; Finnish is considered a benefit Your key people Youll lead a diverse Record to Report team of nine dedicated accounting professionals. Youll be responsible for ensuring the financial reporting standards across the 14 European countries managed by the team. In addition to your own team, youll collaborate closely with colleagues across the finance organisation and our operating countries.
