Chief Engineer, Kymenlaakso Region

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a significant industrial construction project in the Kymenlaakso region. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a technically demanding and high-profile development that will have a lasting impact on theregions infrastructure and industry. In this project-based position, you will be responsible for design management and coordination, as well as technical oversight during construction. You will have a central role in ensuring the successful execution of the project. The expected duration of the assignment is approximately two years, and the work is located in Kymenlaakso. Your responsibilities include: - Leading and coordinating all design activities throughout the project lifecycle as the main contractor, including managing the interface with the external design partner - Ensuring that all design work aligns with project goals, schedules, and technical requirements - Ensuring timely delivery of design outputs and resolving technical issues - Supporting construction teams with technical expertise and design clarifications What we expect from you: - Extensive experience in international engineering project design management (MEP) - Proven skills in coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and subcontractors - Strong command of English (both written and spoken) - Excellent communication and collaboration skills This project offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-impact initiative and develop professionally in a diverse and challenging environment.
