THE POSITION The Carus Reservation system is market-leading and used by ferry companies all over the world. Join us at Carus as a Product Manager, where your role is to connect the dots between the ferry operators' requirements and the capabilities of the Carus platform, identifying how it can be developed to meet the ferry operator's requirements. The product managers oversee a multitude of different products within the Carus Reservation platform. You will be responsible for a number of products, and especially the payment solutions. The product management team has joint ownership of the platform, and for this reason, keeps an overview of planned and ongoing developments to identify synergies and to ensure that the platform is on a path to meet the long-term objectives. This means that you are part of Carus development teams and take an active role in designing software solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead the discussion with our clients on what their needs are. - Lead the discussion with our architects and fellow product managers on how to smartest solve our clients needs and build value for our product. - Discuss with the sales team what to prioritize, provide input for pricing, and how to market the features of our system. - Produce and review the documentation of our Reservation platform produced by your fellow colleagues. WAHT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM - A curious mind, being knowledgeable in software. - Experience from other software companies. - Servant leadership. Although you will not have any colleagues reporting to you, this is a senior position and you need to be a servant leader with your colleagues. - An excellent capability in expressing yourself in written text. You have a talent for describing complex processes and scenarios in a format that is easy to grasp. - An ability to understand what people/our clients need, not just listen to what they ask for. - As you gain experience, you should have the ability to travel a few times a year to visit our clients all over the world. - Experience in defining system-to-system integrations is beneficial. - Experience as a system developer is beneficial. - Our company language is English. Being fluent in Swedish, Spanish, or another language would be a big plus. - It's a plus if you have competence in accounting.
