Discover your exciting role Exyte are now recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for our new data center project site, which is located approx. 90 mins outside Helsinki. As a Quantity Surveyor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall day to day management of the commercial and surveying aspects of new build, refurb and design and build projects. About our Data Centers (DTC) division Exyte delivers comprehensive data center services from design to construction, ensuring efficiency and reliability. With our integrated project delivery approach, we have successfully executed numerous projects worldwide, including advanced intelligence data centers, hyperscale data centers, colocation and cloud-computing data centers using traditional construction as well as modular construction techniques. Explore your tasks and responsibilities: -Register and acknowledge receipt of all project enquiries -Manage/monitor all commercial aspects of projects -Develop and maintain accurate cost reporting /monitoring/forecasting -Identify areas of risk/scope and develop with the project team -Manage and produce/take off Bill of Quants (BoQ) -Review proposals with Designers and select/agree subcontractor enquiry list -Produce monthly status report including items listed above -Lead procurement of subcontract works packages -Organise and chair subcontract settlements -Provide support in respect to legal/contract issues associated with the project -Attend post tender/pre-qual interviews and report accordingly -Attend site meetings as necessary Show your expertise: -BSc in Quantity Surveying or construction related subject -5 years post qualification construction experience with a main contractor -Strong track record on commercial build projects -Experience of package negotiation -Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook -Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills -Strong analytical and logical skills -Able to work accurately with figures -Full driving licence CONTACT: You want to be part of the Exyte team?
